Positive work reflection: literature review and meta-analysis

The analysis of positive experiences at work should not be limited only to positive affect. Positive work reflection is an important and relatively new concept with a high potential. The aim of this review is to map the current situation about the studies in this field. Five databases have been used to identify 21 relevant article. The role of positive work reflection as mediator, moderator, antecedent, and outcome has been revealed. Additionally, meta-analysis has been performed to summarize a few findings. The meta-analysis has confirmed that positive work reflection is positively related to work engagement, positive affect, work–family enrichment, and work meaningfulness. Results are discussed and suggestions for practice together with ideas for future research are provided.
