Peer review process
Manuscripts are initially assessed for compliance with the journal's profile and editorial requirements by the editors. Those that pass this review are then assessed for their merits by the editor of the relevant section, who appoints reviewers (at least two) or rejects them, providing a justification for their decision.
Only works positively assessed by reviewers are accepted for publication.
Papers requiring corrections are returned to the authors. Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated.
