About the Journal

The Archives of Metallurgy and Materials is a quarterly journal of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences, which has been publishing original scientific and review papers in the field of metallurgy and materials science since 1954.

Aim and Scope

Archives of Metallurgy and Materials is a quarterly which has published
scientific papers in English in the following fields: metallurgy and materials science, foundry,
mechanical working of metals, thermal engineering in metallurgy, thermodynamic and physical
properties of materials, phase equilibria in the broad context and diffusion. The main articles published are devoted to the synthesis, processing and properties of metallic materials, including thermodynamic and physical properties, phase relations and their connection with the microstructure of materials.
