Канцэпт «Радзіма» ў моўнай карціне свету беларусаў паводле анкетавання

The article seeks to present the concept of “homeland” as it appears in the linguistic worldview of Belarusians, according to questionnaire data. The questionnaire was offered to two groups of informants of different ages: an older generation (in 2022) and students (in 2024). The answers were analysed in detail and mutually contrasted. The survey was conducted according to the methodology of the Lublin Ethnolinguistic School. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the Lublin Ethnolinguistic School are considered, the main works, projects and researches being named. Questionnaires, together with systemic and textual data, are one of the obligatory stages in the study of axiological concepts. The results of the study are compared with the data of the Belarusian survey of the 1990s and similar data on the Polish language. It is concluded that for the Belarusian concept of “homeland” the most stable components are ‘place of birth, small homeland’, ‘close people, one’s loved ones’, while notions of ‘country’, ‘society’ are less important. The components ‘freedom’ and ‘democracy’ are also optional.
