About the Journal

Studia Quaternaria is an International Multidisciplinary Journal of Quaternary Research.

SQ is an official journal of the Committee for Quaternary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the national representative of International Union for Quaternary Research. The journal has emerged from the journal Quaternary Studies in Poland, which had been issued irregularly since 1979.

Aim and scope

Studia Quaternaria is an interdisciplinary journal, concerning all fields of research of the Quaternary in local, regional and global scales. The clue is that the Quaternary is still ongoing and vivid, and the understanding of its past and present development supports each other. The journal extends its interest basically to Europe but is also open to publish papers presenting the achievements in every part of the world. Potential guest editors who are interested in a thematic volume are kindly requested to contact the Editor-in-Chief.
