Control theory
The Control Theory section welcomes original research papers devoted to all aspects of control theory.
This includes both linear and nonlinear control systems described by ordinary or partial differential equations, fractional order systems, continuous- and discrete-time systems, descriptor systems, hybrid systems, mechanical control systems etc. Papers devoted to optimal control are also within this section as well as papers devoted to control-theoretic problems like controllability, stabilizability, classification of control systems, observability and observers.
Submit here if your manuscript is best described by the following keywords: linear control system, nonlinear control system, optimal control, controllability, stabilizability, observers
Robotics
The Robotics section of Archives of Control Sciences welcomes papers devoted to various aspects of control of robotic systems, i.e. robots or systems containing robots. This includes, but is not limited to, unmanned vehicles, perception of the environment, task and motion planning, robot control, robot control software, robot and environment modelling, application of robots, utilisation of diverse AI techniques in the control of robots, robotic ontologies.
Submit here, if your manuscript is best described by the following keywords: robot control, robot perception, robot task and motion planning, robot programming, robot manipulation and grasping, applications of robots, swarm robotics, multi-robot systems, applications of AI in robotics, human-robot cooperation, bio-inspired robots.
Modeling and analysis
The Modeling and Analysis section aims to publish original research papers and communicats covering use of various mathematical tools to describe of processes and phenomena from area of physics, biology, medicine and social sciences with application to modeling, control, simulation and fault detection. Digital implementation, identification and validation of models are also within the scope of this section. If Your submission is best described with the keywords given beneath, submit it to the section „Modeling and Analysis” .
Submit here, if your manuscript is best described by the following keywords: dynamical system, mathematical model, state equation, transfer function, digital shadow, digital twin, model based control, model identification, model validation.
AI and data processing
The Artificial Intelligence and Data Processing section of Archives of Control Sciences welcomes papers focusing on the application of artificial intelligence and data processing technologies, especially machine learning and deep learning in modelling, optimization, control, and monitoring of complex systems and processes; fault diagnosis and identification; signal processing; robust and secure robotic systems; Internet of Things (IoT); decision-support and expert systems, industrial control systems (ICS) and OT network security. Related areas covered include expert and decision-support systems, large language models (LLMs) in control and decision-making, information technology, parallel and distributed computation, financial engineering, business informatics, and related fields.
