Peer Review Process
Manuscripts submitted to the Bulletin of the Committee for Spatial Development of the Country of the Polish Academy of Sciences (KPZK PAN Bulletin) are subject to an evaluation procedure adapted to their type and to the journal’s profile. Expert reports and discussion papers (in the form of reflection papers) are initially screened by the Editorial Board to assess their consistency with the aims and thematic scope of the journal, as well as with the statutory remit of the Committee for Spatial Development of the Country of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Subsequently, these contributions are referred for expert assessment to at least one member of the KPZK PAN, a member of task-oriented teams operating within the KPZK PAN, or an independent expert with a recognised academic record or professional experience in the relevant field of research or planning practice. Scholarly articles are subject to a peer-review process and are evaluated by at least one reviewer who is an expert in the relevant research area. The review focuses on assessing the scientific quality of the manuscript, its originality, methodological rigour, and its compliance with the journal’s profile and editorial standards.
