The article examines the derivational potential of anthroponyms and analyzes the structural, semantic, and stylistic features of anthroponymic neologisms in modern media discourse. The study identifies productive word-formation models and means of onym-based lexical innovation. It is established that the core of anthroponymic neolexemes consists of neosubstantives, primarily suffixal and prefixal derivatives, composites, and blends. These units may denote a system of government, a political regime, a political ideology, supporters or opponents of a particular ideology or political figure, and other related phenomena. They may also function as expressively colored nominations of persons or countries. Anthroponymic neoverbatives are formed by means of suffixation and confixation. They serve as concise nominations of the behavioral strategies of public figures, with evaluative connotation becoming the dominant component of their semantic structure. It has been proven that the connotation of innovative anthroponymic formations is predominantly determined by the axiological layering of the corresponding onyms functioning as precedent names. The role of context in shaping the connotation of neolexemes has been identified, and the mechanisms underlying the formation of their figurative and evaluative meanings have been revealed.
